Crisis Intervention
CISM of Palm Beach County is dedicated to pre-crisis stress management education and immediate comprehensive crisis response interventions for emergency service personnel. We utilize the ICISF or otherwise known as the 'Mitchell' Model for crisis intervention. Therefore we assess each critical incident on an individual basis to determine the most appropriate intervention. This model recognizes crisis intervention as a multicomponent function with a strong focus on peer support.
